The spin tester’s unique design allows it to spin rotors with large amounts of unbalance and withstand the forces and vibrations associated.
Vibration sensors are fitted to shut down the machine when initial unbalance is too high to spin safely.
As the spin tester is designed to absorb additional energy from the rotor at critical speeds, safe and controlled spin testing can be carried out before the balancing process.
