Ascential Technologies Promotes Michael Lossing to Vice President of Sales for Transportation

Shelby Township, Mich., Aug. 11, 2026 — Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, announced Michael Lossing as vice president of sales for Transportation. In this role, Lossing will lead the Transportation business unit’s global commercial strategy, working closely with regional sales teams to strengthen customer relationships, accelerate growth across international markets and align sales initiatives with the company’s expanding transportation portfolio.

Previously serving as vice president of sales for the Americas at Ascential Technologies, Lossing led commercial activities throughout North and South America, expanding the company’s market presence while fostering customer partnerships across the transportation industry. Since joining the company, he has played an instrumental role in developing high-performing teams and supporting customers with identifying the best assembly, balance and test solutions that fit their needs.

Lossing brings more than 25 years of sales leadership experience spanning global business development, strategic planning and customer relationship management. Prior to joining Ascential Technologies in 2012, Lossing served as director of sales for MPI International, LLC, where he was responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing plans, analyzing various markets, supervising a portfolio of key accounts and identifying target customers. Lossing also previously held managerial roles with Sojitz Corporation of America and Flex-Cable. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing strategic customer partnerships, leading international sales organizations and driving profitable growth.

Lossing earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Administration from Central Michigan University.
