Ascential Technologies Promotes Brunno Moretti to Chief Technology Officer of Transportation
Shelby Township, Mich., Sept. 8, 2026 — Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, announced Brunno Moretti has been promoted to chief technology officer of Transportation. In this new position, Moretti leads the Transportation business unit’s global technology strategy, driving innovation across software, AI and advanced transportation technologies while overseeing the development of next-generation solutions spanning ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration, vehicle and propulsion end-of-line testing, vehicle R&D Dynos and other test and measurement systems.
Prior to this appointment, Moretti served as president, ADAS Solutions at Ascential Technologies, where he oversaw product strategy, software development and operations. He strengthened the organization’s operational performance, streamlined execution and expanded growth opportunities across multiple customer segments while advancing Ascential’s leadership in ADAS calibration and AI-driven transportation solutions. Moretti played a large role in the expansion of Burke Porter ADAS calibration labs, which provide precision calibration of ADAS-equipped vehicles to meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
“Since joining Ascential, Brunno has demonstrated his technical expertise, strategic vision and strong business leadership, helping strengthen our ADAS business while advancing our software and AI capabilities,” said Uwe Krueger, executive vice president, Transportation at Ascential Technologies. “As CTO, he will play a pivotal role in accelerating innovation across our global transportation portfolio, enhancing our solutions and helping our customers prepare for the next generation of mobility.”
Moretti has nearly two decades of leadership experience overseeing autonomous driving, ADAS, electrification, software development and product strategy efforts. Before joining Ascential, he worked for Cepton Technologies as senior vice president of Product & Commercial Operations, where he led the acquisition of the industry’s largest near-range LiDAR business and helped advance breakthrough light-steering technologies. He also previously held leadership positions at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, General Motors and UBER ATG, where he led product strategy, autonomous vehicle sensor development and advanced engineering programs supporting next-generation mobility technologies.
Moretti holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University, a Master of Science in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
