Ascential Technologies Appoints Jay Drew as Vice President of Global Sales, Aerospace & Industrials
Shelby Township, Mich., June 30, 2026 — Ascential Technologies, a global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly, and test systems, today announced the appointment of Jay Drew as vice president of global sales, Aerospace & Industrials (A&I).
In this role, Drew will lead commercial strategy and execution, with responsibility for driving profitable growth, expanding customer lifetime value and strengthening the company’s service offerings. He will oversee the global sales organization, including direct and channel teams, and lead market segmentation, quota strategy and go-to-market execution.

Drew brings more than two decades of experience across aerospace, defense, renewable energy and medical industries. Most recently, he served as head of sales, Eastern United States and Canada at Trumpf Laser Technology, where he led a regional organization responsible for more than $40 million in annual revenue and drove sustained market expansion.
Previously, Drew served as vice president of sales at JT Automation, where he significantly expanded the company’s pipeline and established key strategic partnerships. He also held prior sales leadership roles at Trumpf, consistently delivering year-over-year growth in capital equipment sales.
Drew holds an associate degree in business administration from Springfield Technical Community College.
