Ascential Technologies Hires Fabrice Michalet as Vice President of Technology, Aerospace & Industrials

Shelby Township, Mich., August 25, 2026 — Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, announced Fabrice Michalet as vice president of Technology for the company’s Aerospace & Industrials business unit. In this new role, Michalet will lead technology development for the A&I portfolio and coordinate application engineering activities across its renowned brands. Further, he will focus on strengthening technical alignment, accelerating product and technology development and ensuring Ascential Technologies’ application engineering capabilities are closely connected to customer needs and commercial execution.

With over 25 years of experience in automotive, industrial and aerospace technology, Michalet brings extensive expertise in product strategy, business development and engineering leadership. Prior to joining Ascential, he served as a business development manager at Garrett Motion where he led customer engagement for new fuel cell compressor customers and secured new business opportunities. Michalet defined and monitored their customer engagement plan by translating product differentiation into value proposition and expanding business into emerging markets. Before his promotion to business development manager, he served as senior product marketing manager for the company.

Prior to Garrett, Michalet spent more than a decade at Honeywell Transportation Systems, holding leadership positions in cost reduction and program management. During his tenure, he held engineering, program management and global cost-reduction leadership roles supporting turbocharger development, product launches and strategic cost optimization for global automotive customers. Throughout his career, Michalet has developed extensive experience in advanced product development, systems engineering and translating complex technical capabilities into market-facing solutions through close collaboration with engineering, sales and operations teams to drive innovation and execution across automotive and industrial markets.

Fabrice earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Polytech Marseille in France.
